Weblog entry #2 for cbrink
So I have submitted the information to pm.org. Just need to wait until I hear back from them about getting the DNS moved over to the new server and the mailing list administrative control. In the past this hasn't been a long wait but pm.org is volunteer staffed, so it could be a while.
In the meantime I am getting the server all ready. It will run (custom) yawns. Yawns seems to fit the bill and I have already somewhat customized it to my liking. The web server server will run on my linode debian lenny server with Apache2. The mailing list will be hosted on pm.org.
I will be setting up a meeting with some former/new member that I know to brainstorm about the meeting format, schedule, and other details. What I do want is 2 meetings a month one social and one technical. I am planning on starting out with the technical meeting to generate interest and show that this is a serious attempt. I would like to add a tutoring/mentoring/training program later. This is very similar to what was done to start up PDX.pm.
